Deadpool 3 Storyline:
According to the first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, Deadpool gets roped into the TVA (Time Variance Authority) and gets some guidance from Paradox. This setup is kind of like how Mobius recruited Loki in the first season of Loki.
It looks like Deadpool might end up in the Void, where he could meet, fight, and eventually buddy up with a Wolverine variant. This means we're in for some multiverse madness as Deadpool and Wolverine step into the MCU. Brace yourself for possible cameos from different versions of familiar Marvel characters from both MCU and non-MCU movies and shows.
On January 29, 2024, they dropped the first official synopsis for Deadpool and Wolverine. It's short and sweet, saying, "The reckless hero Deadpool is about to shake up MCU history with Wolverine!" Even though it doesn't spill all the details, it hints that this movie might mess around with the MCU timeline. We could even see the X-Gene and some famous mutants making their way into the MCU through the multiverse. Get ready for some time-travelling superhero shenanigans!
Deadpool 3 Breaks In: Now Officially Part of MCU: Multiverse Unleashed!
Guess what? Deadpool 3, aka Deadpool and Wolverine, is officially part of the MCU! The trailer even shows Deadpool saluting Captain America at the TVA (Time Variance Authority), making it clear that Deadpool's previous adventures are now part of the MCU thanks to the multiverse twist.
In the earlier Deadpool movies, we saw nods to the MCU, like a helicarrier-style vehicle in the final Deadpool 2 battle. They even threw in mutants and X-Men characters from the likes of X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Now, in the MCU, Deadpool is set to dive into a whole new playground with MCU events and characters.
In the MCU, Ms. Marvel introduced mutants, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness features Patrick Stewart playing a variant of Charles Xavier. With Phases 4 and 5 laying the groundwork, it seems like Deadpool is stealing the spotlight before other big-name mutants like Cyclops and Jean Grey make their MCU debuts. Deadpool and Wolverine might just be the keys to officially bringing the X-Men into the MCU. Get ready for some wild Marvel crossover action!
